Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and livelinks (livelinks.me) when you create an account, use the editor or visit a livelinks page. Please read them. They are written to be fair and in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us.

Your legal rights. If you use livelinks as a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away your rights under consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

1. Who we are

[Operator name and address to be added]

livelinks is a link-in-bio service for live streamers, run by one person in the United Kingdom (named above). In these terms, "livelinks", "we", "us" and "our" mean that operator, and "you" means the person using livelinks. You can contact us at Livelinkuk@outlook.com.

These terms include our Acceptable Use Policy and Copyright & Takedown policy. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie & Storage Policy explain how we handle personal data.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, or by signing in with Google, Discord, Twitch or TikTok (which creates an account if you do not have one), you agree to these terms. If you only visit livelinks pages, these terms apply to that use too, so far as they are relevant (for example, sections 7, 8, 11 and 17 to 24). If you do not agree, please do not use livelinks.

3. Who can use livelinks

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age for using online services like this in your country if that is higher.
  • If you are under 18 (or under the age of adulthood where you live), you need permission from a parent or guardian, and they should read these terms with you.
  • You must not use livelinks if we have previously closed your account for breaking these terms, unless we agree otherwise.
  • You must not use livelinks if the law where you live does not allow it.

By creating an account you confirm that these statements are true.

4. Your account

  • Accurate information. Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your email address up to date (where you use one), so we can reach you about your account.
  • Security. Keep your password and your sign-in provider accounts secure. Do not share your login. You are responsible for what happens on your account unless it happens because of something we did wrong. Tell us straight away at Livelinkuk@outlook.com if you think someone else has accessed it.
  • One person. An account is for one person. You may run a page for a group, team or business you are authorised to represent, but you must not share the account with people who are not authorised, sell it, or create accounts automatically.
  • Business users. If you use livelinks on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that business.

5. Usernames

Your username becomes your page address (livelinks.me/yourname). You are given the right to use a username while your account is active and you follow these terms, but you do not own it. Some names are reserved for the site itself.

You must not choose a username that impersonates another person, streamer, brand or organisation, that misleads people about who you are or who you are connected with, that infringes someone else's trademark or other rights, or that is offensive.

We may reclaim, change or refuse a username if:

  • it breaks the rules above or our Acceptable Use Policy;
  • we receive a valid complaint that it infringes someone's trademark or other rights, or it impersonates them;
  • it is misleading, for example suggesting an official connection with a platform or with us; or
  • the account has been inactive for a long period (normally at least 12 months without a sign-in) and we have tried to contact you, where we have a way to do so, and given you at least 30 days to respond.

Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you before we change your username and why. If we change it, we will give you a different available username where possible so your page keeps working at a new address.

6. Your content

You own it. "Your content" means everything you add to livelinks: your display name, bio, pictures, links, text, schedule, badges, top gifters lists, embedded media and design choices. You keep ownership of it, and you are responsible for it.

Licence to us. So we can run the service, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, publish and make available your content, and to adapt it only as needed for technical and formatting purposes (for example resizing or cropping images, changing formats, or fitting text to a button), for the purpose of operating, showing and improving livelinks. You also allow us to show your public page, or screenshots of it, to promote livelinks, but if you ask us not to, we will stop using it for promotion as soon as reasonably possible. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups, logs and records we keep as described in our Privacy Policy, and content others have already shared or copied.

Your promises about your content. You confirm that:

  • you own your content or have all the rights and permissions needed to post it and to give us the licence above, including for images, logos, artwork, videos and music you link to or embed;
  • if your content names or shows other people, including names in a top gifters list, you have the right to share that information and it is accurate and not private or harmful to them;
  • your badges and other claims are truthful (see section 10); and
  • your content follows these terms, our Acceptable Use Policy and the law.

Your page is public. Anyone can see, share and copy what is on your page. We are not responsible for what other people or services do with public content they copy.

We do not check content in advance. We do not review pages before they go live, and we are not responsible for content posted by users. We may, but are not obliged to, review, edit, hide or remove content under section 7 and our policies.

Keep your own copy. livelinks is not a backup service. Keep your own copies of anything important, such as images.

7. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. It explains what is not allowed on livelinks (including illegal content, abuse, scams, impersonation and infringing content) and what we may do if a page breaks the rules. Anyone can report a page using our report page.

If we believe content or an account breaks these terms or the law, or puts people at risk, we may remove or hide content, disable a page, remove badges, change a username, restrict features, or suspend or close the account, as described in section 16. Where we take action, we will normally tell you what we did and why, unless the law prevents it or telling you would put someone at risk or help someone get around our rules. You can ask us to review the decision (see our complaints and appeals process).

livelinks pages are mostly links to other websites, apps and services. We do not control those sites, we do not check or endorse them, and we are not responsible for their content, products, services, availability, safety or privacy practices, or for anything that happens as a result of using them. Visiting another site is at your own risk and under that site's own terms. If you find a link that is harmful, please report it.

9. Other platforms and trademarks

  • No affiliation. livelinks is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Discord, Google, Instagram, X, Spotify, or any other platform or company whose name or logo appears on the site or on pages.
  • Their names and logos. Platform names and logos are trademarks of their owners. We, and page owners, use them only to identify a link to that platform. You must not use them on your page in a way that suggests you are the platform or are officially connected with it, unless you are.
  • Platforms change. Features that depend on other platforms, including signing in with them, embedded videos and music, and links to their live streams, depend on those platforms' services and rules. They may change, restrict or stop those features at any time, and we may then have to change or remove them. We are not responsible for changes made by other platforms or for anything you lose on those platforms.
  • Their terms apply too. When you use a sign-in provider, or embed or link to another platform's content, you must also follow that platform's terms.

10. Badges

  • Badges are self-reported. Page owners choose and add their own badges, including ranking badges (such as daily, league or leaderboard positions) and, on Pro, custom badges with their own name and image.
  • Not confirmed by any platform. A ranking badge does not mean that TikTok, any other platform or livelinks has confirmed the ranking or achievement, unless the badge is marked as verified.
  • What "verified" means. A verified mark means only that we looked at evidence the page owner gave us and were satisfied, at the time we checked, that the claim was accurate. It is not a guarantee, it is not issued by any platform, and it does not mean we endorse the page owner. If the page owner changes what a verified badge says, the verified mark is removed automatically. We may remove a verified mark at any time if we have doubts about it.
  • Be honest. You must not add badges that are false or misleading, or that use another person's achievements. We may remove misleading badges and, for repeated or serious cases, take further action.
  • Do not rely on a badge when deciding whether to send money, gifts or personal information to anyone.

11. Live notifications and the live indicator

A page owner can switch on "I'm live", which shows a live ring on their page (it switches off by itself after about six hours) and can send a notification to visitors who signed up for it. Notifications are limited to one round every 30 minutes for each page.

These features are provided "as is". Notifications depend on browsers, devices, operating system settings and push services that we do not control. They may be delayed, arrive more than once, arrive after a stream has ended, or not arrive at all, and the live indicator may be wrong if the page owner forgets to switch it on or off. We are not responsible for streams you miss, or for any loss because a notification or the live indicator was late, wrong or missing. Page owners must use notifications only for genuine live streams and must not use them to spam visitors.

12. Stats

The view and click figures in your editor are approximate. They may include repeat visits, automated traffic, or visits blocked by browser privacy tools, and they may miss some visits. They are provided for your information only. Do not rely on them for payments, contracts, sponsorship deals or other important decisions, and do not present them to others as audited figures.

13. Pro and invite codes

livelinks is free to use. Pro adds extra features, which currently include showing more than three badges, making custom badges, hiding the livelinks logo and an entry screen for your page. Pro is invite-only for now: it can only be unlocked with an invite code, and no one is charged for it.

Invite codes

  • We may give out invite codes that unlock Pro. A code is personal to the person we gave it to, unless we say it can be shared.
  • Codes cannot be sold, swapped or transferred, have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • A code may have an expiry date or a limit on how many times it can be used, and we may cancel a code that has been shared publicly, sold or misused.
  • Pro unlocked with a code continues until we tell you it will end. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before ending Pro that was unlocked with a code, unless we end it because you broke these terms or misused the code.

We may change which features are in Free and Pro. If we remove a Pro feature you are using, we will try to give you reasonable notice.

This section applies only if and when we start taking payments for Pro or other paid features. Until then, no one is charged.

  • Billing terms at checkout. Before you pay, we will show you the price (including any VAT), how often you will be charged, how to cancel, and any other billing terms. Those terms will form part of your agreement with us. Any payment provider we use will have its own terms.
  • Your 14-day right to cancel. If you are a consumer in the UK, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel a contract for a digital service within 14 days of the day you enter into it, without giving a reason.
  • If you ask us to start straight away. If you ask for Pro to start during the 14-day cancellation period, and you then cancel within that period, you may have to pay for the part of the service already provided up to the time you tell us you are cancelling. If the service has been fully provided within the 14 days, you will no longer have the right to cancel. We will ask you to confirm this at checkout.
  • How to cancel. We will tell you at checkout how to cancel, which will include emailing Livelinkuk@outlook.com. You can use the model cancellation form from the regulations, but you do not have to. Refunds will be made within 14 days of us being told you are cancelling, using the same payment method.
  • Subscriptions. We will follow any rules that apply to subscription contracts at the time, including on reminders and making it easy to cancel.
  • Price changes. We will give you reasonable notice before any price change for a paid subscription takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.

15. Availability and changes to the service

livelinks is mainly a free service run by one person. We aim to keep it running well, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, fast, secure or free of errors, or that any particular feature will continue. We may need to pause the service for maintenance, updates or problems outside our control.

We may change, add or remove features, change limits (such as the number of links, badges or the size of images), or change how the service works. If a change significantly affects how you use livelinks, we will try to give you notice. We may stop running livelinks altogether; if we do, we will give account holders at least 30 days' notice where we reasonably can, so you can save your content.

16. Suspension and ending your account

By you

You can stop using livelinks whenever you like. You can delete your account and page yourself at any time from Settings → Delete account and link, or ask us to do it by emailing Livelinkuk@outlook.com. Deletion is permanent and your username becomes available to others.

By us

We may suspend or restrict your account, disable your page, or close your account:

  • if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy;
  • if we reasonably believe your account or page puts other people, livelinks or our providers at risk of harm, fraud or legal liability;
  • if we are required to by law, a court, the police or a regulator;
  • if your account has been inactive for a long period, as described in section 5; or
  • if we stop running livelinks, as described in section 15.

For less serious breaches, we will normally give you a warning and a chance to fix the problem first. Where we act, we will tell you what we did and why, unless the law prevents us or telling you would create a risk to someone. You can ask us to review the decision through our appeals process.

The parts of these terms that are meant to continue after your account ends, including sections 6 (as to backups and copies), 10, 17 to 20 and 23 to 24, will continue to apply.

17. Disclaimers

Except as set out in these terms and so far as the law allows, livelinks is provided "as is" and "as available". This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including the right for any services we provide to be performed with reasonable care and skill and for digital content to be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

We do not check, and are not responsible for, the accuracy of user content, including badges, schedules, gifter lists and claims on pages; the content, safety or behaviour of linked sites or embedded media; or anything users do. We do not give legal, financial or professional advice.

18. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law; or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that:

  • Losses we are responsible for. If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious it would happen, or if both of us knew it might happen when you started using livelinks.
  • Business losses. livelinks is provided for personal and creator use. We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, income, sales, sponsorships or business opportunities; loss of followers, viewers, subscribers, gifts, tips or donations; or loss of reputation or goodwill.
  • Indirect losses. If you use livelinks as a business, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
  • Data. We are not liable for loss or corruption of data or content where you could have avoided the loss by keeping your own copy, except to the extent the loss was caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
  • Things outside our control. We are not liable for loss caused by other websites, platforms or services, by other users, or by events described in section 20.
  • Overall cap. Our total liability to you for all claims relating to livelinks is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) £50.

If defective digital content we supply damages a device or other digital content belonging to you, and this is caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires.

19. Indemnity (business users)

This section applies only if you use livelinks in the course of a business, trade, craft or profession (for example as a brand, agency or professional creator). It does not apply to consumers.

You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from a claim by a third party that results from your content or from your breach of these terms, except to the extent the loss was caused by our own breach or negligence. We will tell you promptly about any such claim, let you help defend it, and take reasonable steps to limit the loss.

20. Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for any delay or failure to provide livelinks caused by events outside our reasonable control. These include outages, failures, changes or restrictions at our providers and the platforms livelinks connects to (such as Supabase, Netlify, Google, TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, Discord, Spotify, content delivery networks, browser makers' push services and internet or domain providers), cyberattacks, power or network failures, changes in law, government action, natural disasters, pandemics, war, strikes and similar events. If such an event happens, we will take reasonable steps to limit the effect and restore the service.

21. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when livelinks changes, when the law changes, or to make them clearer. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If a change significantly affects your rights or obligations, we will tell account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect (for example in the editor or by email), unless the change is needed sooner for legal or safety reasons. If you do not agree with the change, you can delete your account before it takes effect. If you keep using livelinks after that, the new terms apply.

22. Notices

We may send you notices about your account or these terms by email (where your account has a real email address), by a message in the editor, or, for changes that affect everyone, by posting on the site. TikTok accounts do not have a real email address, so we will use the editor for notices to those accounts.

You can send notices to us at Livelinkuk@outlook.com or by post to the address in section 1. Legal notices about copyright should follow our Copyright & Takedown policy.

23. General legal terms

  • Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, for example if livelinks is sold. We will tell you if this happens and make sure the transfer does not reduce your rights. If you are unhappy with it, you can delete your account. You may not transfer your rights or obligations, or your account, without our written agreement.
  • Severability. If a court or authority decides that any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms will continue in full force.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, or we are lenient once, we can still enforce our rights later.
  • Entire agreement. These terms, together with the policies they mention and any billing terms shown at checkout, are the whole agreement between you and us about livelinks. This does not limit liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or your statutory rights.
  • Third parties. No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
  • Language. These terms are in English, and any agreement is concluded in English.

24. Governing law and courts

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them or from your use of livelinks, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland, you can also bring proceedings in Scotland, and if you live in Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you may also have the benefit of mandatory consumer protection rules and courts where you live.

We would much rather sort out any problem directly, so please contact us first.
